About

David Litvin spent the best years of his life playing, watching, and being around the sport of jai-Alai, a game of Basque origin that is now nearly extinct in the U.S.A. Like Dave, it is hanging on by a thread.
Later he stumbled into poker at just the right time. Poker exploded across the world in the early 2000s as did Dave’s career within the industry. Starting as a dealer, he would soon earn roles as a tournament director, manager, dealer trainer, and finally, director of poker operations for a 30 table poker room in Florida. A source of pride, over 13 years he took this room from almost nothing, to a busy, profitable and enjoyable place to play cards.
Writing started by accident. A chance encounter with a Grammy winning music producer resulted in a collaboration that produced All In: The Poker Musical. It would be nearly a decade later, in 2018, the novel Frum God finally came to life. On a roll, The Monochrome Solution and Silencer’s End came quickly and easily.
So far, each of Dave’s works are very different from each other and from any definable genres, but each carried similar undertones and themes. And so was born Why The Fuck Not?. Nothing less than a manifesto, Why the Fuck Not? cries out for equality, freedom and most of all, economic justice. Dave believes economic freedom for each of us is easily within our grasp. We need only tame the beast of corporate oligarchy to reach that reality.
In 2023, Dave was aboard the Serenade of the Seas for the first 64 days of a 274-day journey around the world. The cruise captured the attention of social media and the world, and Dave wrote a series of blogs from the cruise which can be read below.
He now lives seven miles west of Disney World, where he hopes to continue his lifelong state of childhood. And maybe even finish Silencer’s Begin, the second book of the Silencer series.
